Why are we doing this?

Environmental problems are either ignored or quickly forgotten once the news turns somewhere else.

When the environment is reported upon, it often is because of an environmental “disaster.” Environmental stories generally lack a connection for most people: why should they care?

Terra Trek aims to bring attention to the environment and help forge a new path for a sustainable and livable environment by connecting environmental issues and quality to people and helping them to understand why they should care.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to share environmental stories from across America that increase public awareness and support for the environment, inspire appreciation for the natural world, and grow the community of problem solvers, activists and stewards of the earth.
